Bhaskar Biswas got his BE in CSE from VTU, Belgaum in 2003. He obtained his Ph.D. from Ecole Polytechnique, France. His Ph.D. thesis was on code-based crypto. Along with his adviser, he developed the first benchmarked prototype implementation of McEliece encryption scheme. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher at NTU Singapore, KAIST, South Korea and at IMT Atlantique, France. He was Assistant Professor at CRRao AIMSCS, Hyderabad. Currently Dr. Biswas is working as an Assistant Professor at IIIT Kalyani, India. His recent work published in Journal of Cryptographic Engineering proposes a novel design of Pairing-Based Homomorphic Scheme. His research interests cover areas of post-quantum cryptology.
