SAMOVAR is one of the only research laboratories to cover all the various domains of Information and Communications Technologies.

The SAMOVAR Joint Research Unit (Distributed Services, Architectures, Modeling, Validation, and Network Administration) brings together several teams of researchers working in the field of services, networks and telecommunications.

Joint UMR Telecom SudParis and CNRS, SAMOVAR is one of the few laboratories to cover all topics of communications systems. Directed in collaboration with industrialists, its activities combine scientific quality and originality.

The CNRS awarded the SAMOVAR Laboratory label N ° 5157 in 2003. It carries out most of the scientific production and collaborative research activities at Telecom SudParis.

Primarily based at the Telecom SudParis campus in Evry, it also has a location on the Paris-Saclay University campus at the Nano-INNOV premises managed by the CEA.
